SONG, dance and comedy will be in abundance as the Victoria Theatre in Halifax moves from summer to autumn.

The shows include Someone Like You on September 29, when Katie Markham displays a talent that saw her selected to perform with Adele on her TV special.

Katie will perform songs from Adele’s hit albums, ‘19’, ‘21’ and ‘25’, including songs like audiences ‘Chasing Pavements’, ‘Make You Feel my Love’, ‘Set Fire to the Rain’, ‘Someone Like You’, ‘Rolling in the Deep’, ‘Hello’ and ‘Skyfall’.

October 22 will see stars of Britain’s Got Talent coming together as part of Halifax Comedy Festival.

The line-up includes 2018 winner Lee Ridley (AKA Lost Voice Guy) and finalist Robert White, runner-up Mandy Muden, last year’s finalist Daliso Chaponda, and Tony Vino.

Lee Ridley is the first stand-up comedian to use a communication aid and he may not be able to talk but he definitely has something to say.

Robert White, who does both musical comedy and straight stand-up, was a finalist in the prestigious Hackney Empire competition, then won the Malcolm Hardee main award at the Edinburgh Festival in 2010.

Mandy Muden is a London-based comedian and magician, a member of the Inner Magic Circle who was awarded the Magic Circle Carlton Award for Comedy in Magic.

Daliso Chaponda has appeared in Halifax twice before, since beginning his comedy career in Canada with acclaimed solo show ‘Feed This Black Man’.

The night’s compere, Tony Vino, has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005.

Debra Stephenson, actress, impressionist and star of Dead Ringers and new ITV1 panel show The Imitation Game, will perform both songs and comedy on October 21.

The show, entitled A Night of 100 Voices, is a nostalgic journey through six decades of popular music.

Children’s favourites the Teletubbies will be at the Victoria Theatre on September 15 and 16.

Youngsters can join Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in a show full of love and laughter as they explore the magical world of Teletubbyland.

Look out for the Tubby Phone, Noo-noo and the Sun Baby in a fun, bright and safe world.
