THE Tempest is being performed in the grounds of East Riddlesden Hall.
The production – by The Lord Chamberlain's Men – will feature Elizabethan costumes, music and dance.
Artistic director, Peter Stickney, said: "The Tempest is Shakespeare's late, great gem that examines the power of true love, our capacity for vengeance and what it takes to forgive.
"I can't think of anything more perfect for a summer's evening than a classical re-telling of this soaring drama set against the background of some of the nation's most magical outdoor venues."
The performance will be in the lower field at the 17th-century National Trust property on August 22.
The field will be open from 6.30pm and the production starts at 7.30pm.
"Bring a chair and a picnic and spend a glorious summer evening watching this enchanting production of one of Shakespeare's finest plays," said a hall spokesman.
"Ice creams will be on sale before curtain-up and at the interval."
Tickets are £14 for adults and £7 for under-18s.
