A FINAL invite to the public has been issued by organisers of a vegetable, flower and produce show, due to take place in Haworth.

Haworth, Oxenhope, Lees and Cross Roads Gardeners’ and Allotment Holders’ Association will hold its 100th show in the village from 2pm this Sunday. (August 26)

It will be staged at Haworth Village Hall, Butt Lane.

The show features 105 classes including vegetables and fruit, flowers and house plants, baking, jams, chutneys, eggs and handicrafts, as well as classes for children in three age categories.

Exhibits in all classes need to be taken to the Village Hall from 8.30am on the morning of the show.

The public event will also include refreshments, a bar, a raffle and tombola. Prizes will be presented at 4pm by show president Vera Dobson.
