A BUILDING society with branches in Keighley, Silsden and Cross Hills is supporting efforts to help flood victims in India.
Hundreds of people have died and many more have been displaced by the worst flooding for decades in the state of Kerala.
Now Skipton Building Society staff are raising funds and a special charity account has been set-up.
The public can donate at any branch or by phoning 0345 850 1722.
Stacey Stothard, the society's senior corporate communications manager, said: "Media reports have highlighted the consequences of the terrible flooding in Kerala and it is difficult to imagine the actual scale of the tragedy.
"We want to help make it a bit easier for anyone wishing to give their support to donate money."
