TWO Skipton Building Society workers are motorbiking across Britain to raise money for charity.

Paul Fenn and Ian Moore will call at every branch – including Keighley, Silsden and Cross Hills – as part of their marathon journey.

They will set off from Skipton, on their Triumph Bonneville T100s, on Tuesday, September 11, and aim to finish on September 19.

The duo is raising money for the society’s partner charities, the Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Scotland.

Branch colleagues will also hold fundraising activities.

Mr Fenn said: “I’m not sure I appreciated just how challenging the journey would be until Ian and I started some practice rides of four to five hours – this is about half of our daily route time but we’ve committed to it and it’s going to happen!”
