AN author from Cross Roads will deliver a talk at Denholme Community Library this month.
Carol Fellingham Webb, who has written two children's books about the life and times of King Richard III, will be at this library from 10.30am till noon on Saturday September 15.
She said: "I'll be doing a brief talk about my books and King Richard, followed by a reading and an informal question and answer session.
"And I'll also have a colouring competition for children – or adults if they like!"
Ms Fellingham Webb is the author of The Order of the White Boar and The King's Man, which have been published under her pen name of Alex Marchant.
The Order of the White Boar has been awarded a "Discovered Diamond" logo, as part of a scheme led by independent reviewers to recognise high quality independent, self-published historical fiction.
Ms Fellingham Webb has recently delivered presentations at both the Bosworth and Tewkesbury Medieval Festivals, which attract re-enactors, traders and entertainers from across the world.
