THE managers of Keighley’s Airedale Shopping Centre are celebrating picking up two awards in this year’s Yorkshire in Bloom contest.
Centre manager Steve Seymour and the rest of his team have been presented with the Community Champion award as well as Gold in the Large Business category of Yorkshire in Bloom 2018.
Mr Seymour said: “The team and I are absolutely over the moon to have won both the Community Champion award and Gold in the Large Business section.
“It is a real team effort here at the centre when we are preparing for the annual judging, especially when it comes to Community Champion.
“My wife, my sons and the entire centre team have supported me in all my community and stakeholder commitments, which has included everything from sponsored walks, runs, baking and so much more.
“In return, this allows me to support various groups and voluntary organisations in Keighley and along with my Rotary ‘Paul Harrison’ fellowship award last year, I’m extremely honoured to achieve this recognition.”
