AN organisation’s work improving healthcare across the district will be spotlighted at a meeting next week.

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is staging its monthly board meeting.

And people from across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven are invited to attend.

Agenda items include an outline of how the appointment of care trust staff to the Yorkshire and the Humber Clinical Senate will benefit the district.

The senate comprises clinical experts from every level of healthcare who – together with social care workers, patients and carers – provide advice to health organisations planning changes to their services.

There will also be an update on the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership.

Paul Hogg, the trust’s director of corporate affairs, said: “This meeting will be an excellent opportunity for members of the public to learn more not just about our organisation, but about the way healthcare is being provided and developed across our region to meet individuals’ needs.

“We are constantly striving to deliver excellent care.”

The meeting is at New Mill, Victoria Road, Saltaire, next Thursday, September 27, from 1.30pm to 4pm.
