AN electrical fault is believed to have started a fire which extensively damaged a BMW car.
A crew from Skipton Fire Station was called out to tackle the blaze, in Colne Road, Cowling.
The engine compartment and front-seat passenger area of the vehicle were severely damaged.
No one was hurt.
Two breathing-apparatus sets were worn and two hose reel jets used to bring the fire under control.
The incident happened shortly before 1pm yesterday.
