POLICE investigating a burglary are appealing for witnesses and information.
The incident happened shortly before 4am on Sunday, at a house in Acre Road, Cowling.
North Yorkshire Police believe the burglars may have been trying to steal car keys, but were unsuccessful.
Anyone with information or CCTV footage which could help the investigation is asked to call 101, select option 2 and ask for PC249 Nick Wehrle. Quote the North Yorkshire Police reference number 12200151341.
