MANORLANDS fundraising has moved up a gear.

A classic-vehicle gathering, at Keighley's rugby union club, raised just over £2,000 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.

Nearly 200 vehicles were on show.

Several classic car organisations attended – including Craven Old Wheels Society, the Dales Historic Vehicle Club, Chevin Motor Club, the XR Owners Club and Northern Classic Collective.

There were also stalls and entertainment, and a Lancaster bomber flypast.

The gathering was organised by Tony and Cath Anderton, who said: "We were delighted to be able to put on the event again after a break due to the pandemic – and it was brilliant to see so many people there raising vital funds for the hospice."

They thanked the rugby club for hosting the event and providing food, and club members for marshalling.

Thanks were also expressed to MJM AutoFab for sponsoring exhibitors' rosettes and everyone who supported the event.
