A KEIGHLEY Model Railway Club open day has been hailed as a huge success.
Visitors made tracks in force to the clubrooms for the event, which featured layouts in all scales.
Steve Ward, for the club, said: "It was a great day and there was lots of interest in all the layouts, old and new.
"New members, father and son Andy and Toby Paxton, proved a big attraction – answering questions about their new layout, whilst continuing to build it throughout the day!"
The club has announced a change of date for its annual Christmas open day – the event will now take place on Sunday, January 8.
And at the annual general meeting, treasurer Peter Morrison – who has stood down after more than 11 years in the role – was presented with a life membership certificate. His successor is Rachel Taylor.
