X-RAYS will be the focus of a talk at Lees this month.
Bev Foster is guest speaker at the Lees Methodist Church Meeting Point on Wednesday, November 30.
She will outline the progress made regarding x-ray images and the various types of scan now used in modern-day clinical practice.
"Bev has worked for most of her career in x-ray departments as a radiographer and most recently has been a university lecturer teaching under and post-graduate radiography students," says church spokesperson Maurice Baren.
"This a wonderful opportunity to have the complexity of this medical equipment explained in simple language."
The meeting is at the church, opposite Lees Primary School.
Tea and biscuits will be available from 1.45pm, and the talk starts at 2pm.
Everyone is welcome.
