KEIGHLEY RUFC are holding their annual former players' reunion next month.

There is a good feeling at the club at the moment, with the club building superbly on their Yorkshire Two triumph in 2021/22 by vying for the title in Counties One Yorkshire this season.

That means the game at home to Dinnington on Saturday, February 11 could be special for more reasons than one.

That is when the players' reunion event will take place, and hopefully those stars of Keighley's past will get to watch the club's present-day heroes notch up another win in their push for the title.

The game between Keighley and Dinnington itself kicks off at 2pm, but the reunion event starts earlier, with a buffet lunch taking place from noon.

The event costs £10 per head, and for those looking to attend, the club ask that you call Alden Phillips or Kev Young, both of whose numbers are on the keighleyrufc.com website.

Keighley's next home game in Counties One Yorkshire is against Roundhegians this afternoon, while they are on the road at West Leeds the following weekend.

If you cannot make it to West Leeds next Saturday though, there is still some top-class rugby union action taking place at Utley.

That day will see the ground host an Under-18s game between Yorkshire Rugby Academy and their Leicester Tigers counterparts.
