HALF-term children's activities are being staged at libraries across the district.

A new production from Hoglets Theatre, Wood Owl & The Box of Wonders, is taking place at Keighley Library on Tuesday, February 14, at 10am.

The show, suitable for children aged four to eight, features songs, music and handmade puppets.

For more information, including ticket and booking details, call 01535 618212 or email keighley.library@bradford.gov.uk.

Children aged five plus can attend a puppet workshop, for £1, following the performance. Booking for the workshop is in person only at the library.

Other activities include an under-11s craft session at Wilsden Library, also that Tuesday, from 11am to 4pm.

And regular rhyme time and story time sessions are also taking place.

Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s executive member for healthy people and places, says: "There are lots of events taking place in libraries across the district.

"These sessions are a great way to introduce young children to stories and theatre."
