Oakworth Gala Queen Mollie McLaughlin was crowned at a meeting of the village society.

The crowning was carried out by the retiring queen Becky Mullaney. Last year's attendants Leah Barrett and Elle Anderson were also in attendance to hand over their sashes to their successors, Bethany Baldwin and Emily Buxton.

There was also a sash presented to pageboy, Jamie Coffey. The children will now represent the village at events in Oakworth for the next 12 months.
