LEGENDARY trio The Three Degrees is coming to Silsden.

The world-famous group is performing at the town hall on November 11 as party of its 60th anniversary tour.

Comprising original member Valerie Holiday, together with Helen Scott and Freddie Pool, they will sing classics including When Will I See You Again and Take Good Care Of Yourself.

The concert forms part of a busy autumn season at the town hall, in Kirkgate.

A spokesperson says: "We are delighted to welcome audiences to a variety of live entertainment this autumn with a packed programme of concerts, comedy and conversation.

"As well as The Three Degrees bringing their anniversary tour to the venue, other highlights will include comedy legend Mick Miller, who is delivering his hilarious new show."

The comic – who is appearing on November 4 – regularly starred on The Comedians, and has performed with many of the greats during his half century at the top, including appearances in the Royal Variety Performance.

Other programme highlights include, on November 25, Ranagri and award-winning duo Plumhall.

They will present a night of modern folk music.

"Ranagri produces a lively mix of virtuosic instrumentals and haunting melodies to accompany their vivid storytelling and unique take on old and new folk songs," said the spokesperson. "The group recently toured with Tony Christie and returns to Silsden Town Hall after a previous sell-out performance.

"Our majestic town hall building is steeped in history and has been a hub of activity for over a century, serving as a focal point for social gatherings, cultural events and civic engagements. Today it continues to thrive as a vibrant concert hall, offering a variety of activities and hosting public gatherings that bring people together.

"It welcomes visitors from across Yorkshire to attend a sensational variety of entertainment events in our beautiful 120-seat ballroom. Live music, theatre, comedy and arts events take place regularly."

Next Saturday (September 9) there will be country music from Chris Raddings, who is performing a selection of well-known hits and self-penned music.

Sam Kelly and his Station House Band, who have been appearing internationally for years, will be at the venue on September 30.
