A PRESENTATION will be music to the ears of Lees Methodist Church Meeting Point.
Chris Partington, a brass band player for many years, is presenting Totally Brassed Off.
He will recount performances at well-known events such as the Durham Miners' Gala and Saddleworth Whit Friday extravaganza, and for BBC Songs of Praise and in national bands finals. And he will play.
"Everyone is welcome to come along and hear some fine brass band music as well as a compelling story," says Maurice Baren, for the church. "The presentation will be a record of Chris' personal journey.
"As the weather gets colder, save on your heating and enjoy good company!"
The meeting is at the church, opposite Lees Primary School, on Wednesday, November 15, at 2pm.
