A POST office is on the move.
The branch in Bar Lane, Riddlesden, is being relocated.
Post Office Ltd has confirmed plans to instead house the facility at Londis, 294-298 Bradford Road.
The newly-named Stockbridge Post Office is expected to open by June.
A company spokesperson says: “The move will be to newly-built premises, including a convenience store, with the same postmaster.
“There will be two serving positions – one screened, and the other open plan. The screened counter will offer the full range of post office services and will be open from 8am-8pm Monday to Saturday and 8am-6pm on Sundays, whilst the open plan counter – providing selected services – will operate between 7am and 10pm Monday to Sunday. This will provide 105 hours of post office service a week – an extra 33 hours compared to what’s currently provided.”
