GP partnership Modality AWC has chosen Manorlands hospice as its charity fundraising beneficiary for this year.

And the first event GPs and staff are supporting is the Sue Ryder Keighley 10k and 5k run and walk, taking place on Sunday, March 10.

Doctor and executive partner, Dr Brendan Kennedy, says: "We employ over 400 people locally, and our team really values the support Manorlands can give patients and families at the most crucial times in life.

"We've supported Manorlands informally over the years but we wanted to help promote, and fundraise for, one of our vital local charities.

"We are delighted to be sponsoring this year's Keighley 10k and 5k and look forward to seeing lots of runners and supporters at this great event."

Later this year, Modality will also be supporting the Manorlands Mascot Gold Cup and staging a fundraising family day.
