MANORLANDS is bowled over with a pledge of continued support from a cricket league – and its newest sponsor.
Craven and District Cricket League – a supporter of the Oxenhope hospice for nearly two decades, during which time around £19,000 has been donated – has renewed its commitment to the charity.
And latest league sponsor Timothy Taylor's brewery, a long-time backer of Manorlands too, is giving its commitment.
League treasurer, Christopher Todd, says: "Both ourselves and Timothy Taylor's continue to support the excellent work carried out by the hospice.
"The league is very proud to be associated with a local family-run business in our new relationship, which we hope can be maintained for a number of years."
Adam Brunskill, senior community fundraiser at Manorlands, says: "We're delighted Timothy Taylor's has chosen to support the cricket league. Over the years, the league has raised an incredible amount of money for us."
