KEIGHLEY Lions have been roaring their approval for the town's businesses.
The club mascot, Roary, toured Keighley – visiting business premises and other buildings, including the library.
And he was sporting a new branded shirt provided by Gemnem Crafts.
During his tour, Roary helped distribute leaflets in advance of an afternoon tea event – being hosted by Keighley Lions Club – celebrating Mother's Day.
A club spokesperson says: "We are delighted that Roary was able to take part in a tour around Keighley and demonstrate his backing for local businesses, which are the lifeblood of our town.
"He spent a morning visiting lots of different premises in support of the community, and Keighley Lions are very happy with the warm reception we received from local people.
"Also, massive thanks must go to the fantastic Gemnem Crafts for Roary's new, branded shirt. It suits him down to the ground!"
As part of its link-up with town businesses, the club was recently allowed by Wetherspoon's to display a promotional banner outside its premises.
