Policeman injured in crash

A police officer was injured when his patrol car skidded and hit a wall.
The incident happened at the junction of Park Lane and Hainworth Wood Road in Keighley at 6.20am today.
A police spokeswoman said the officer received minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
She added: "The incident happened during a routine drive around - it looks like there was some diesel on the road and the car skidded and went into the wall.
"The council was contacted to put some grit down on the road."
