THERE will be monkey business at a Keighley gallery tomorrow (April 27).
Simian Shangri-la Monkey Rescue and Sanctuary is staging an exhibition featuring photos of the monkeys in its care.
There will also be a tombola and face painting. Refreshments will be available.
The event takes place at the Little Nomad Gallery, in the former Marks & Spencer building opposite Keighley Market, between 11am and 4pm.
A spokesperson says: "The exhibition is not only for fun and to raise money, but it aims to educate too.
"Monkeys may look extremely cute, but contrary to popular belief they do not make good pets, especially for children. Many of the primates at this sanctuary come from well-meaning homes, where the owners were unprepared for the cost, commitment and mess that is involved in providing the correct care to these lovely but complex animals."
