A local footballing academy from Bingley have been crowned national champions after putting on a fine display last weekend.
Playing out of Beckfoot School, Academy One's under 9 team were invited down to the Junior Premier League's National Finals in Warwick, where they competed with a number of other academies from around the country in a bid to become national champions.
It comes after a successful 12 months, which saw them crowned Bradford champions too.
In Warwick, after working their way to the final, Academy One were eventually crowned champions after beating Buckinghamshire's Street 2 Pro Academy in the final.
After the game ended 0-0 in normal time, the side from Bingley won the penalty shoot-out 3-2 to seal a magnificent victory.
