ONE person who was injured had to be rescued from a vehicle in a crash in Bradford city centre earlier today.
The crash occurred at the junction of Holdsworth Street and Canal Road just before 12noon.
It is understood that the crash involved two cars.
Reports on social media showed that multiple emergency service vehicles were called to the scene.
Firefighters had to extricate one person from a vehicle.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 11.41am today to reports of an RTC on Holdsworth Street.
"We sent two crews (Bradford and Odsal) who extricated one casualty and handed them to the care of ambulance staff."
A spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "We received an emergency call at 11.36am on Wednesday morning (8 May) to report a collision at the junction of Holdsworth Street and Canal Street in Bradford.
"An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was conveyed to Bradford Royal Infirmary."
The T&A has contacted West Yorkshire Police for a comment.
