Pupils at Hothfield Junior School will take part in a gardening workshop to stimulate ideas for a disused piece of land in Silsden.
Children in year four will be getting their hands dirty learning how to make bird and bat boxes on Friday as part of the Dradishaw Road Garden Project. They will also plant their own food.
The garden project, which is funded by Incommunities Foundation and Connexions, is also running a workshop for the wider community on Monday, July 7.
It will concentrate on food and growing and creating a wildlife area and will take place at Gloucester Avenue Community Centre, Silsden, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Refreshments will be provided and there will be a charge of £2.
