Members of Keighley Cricket Academy handed over the money, raised in a match staged in the summer between Keighley Cougars and a local celebrities XI, at Keighley Cricket Club The proceeds were handed to Dr Michael Crawford and nurse Louise Binns.
The cash will go towards expanding the provision available at the hospital’s haematology and oncology day unit, which is facing an increasing level of demand.

Dr Crawford thanked charity match organiser, Rabia Qureshi, for her hard work and congratulated her on the event’s success.
Abid Hussain, the chairman of Keighley Cricket Academy, offered his own thanks to everyone who had given their support.
