Keighley teenagers were spending this week in the Lake District as a reward for their community work.
The 45 young people are on the Personal Award for Excellence (PAWE) scheme, which has been running for 14 years. Activities at Ambleside Youth Hostel include archery, abseiling, ghyll scrambling, wake boarding, water skiing and dragon boat racing.
The youngsters will finish their five-day visit with a disco on board a lake cruiser on Windermere.
PAWE is aiming to bring together students from all five upper schools in the Keighley district, mixing young people from different ethnic and social backgrounds.
Funding has been provided by Bradford Council, the Co-operative Community Fund and Grassroots, with support from other local organisations.
