Parents and friends were invited into Oxenhope CE Primary School for a “Wonderful Wednesday” to celebrate the success of last term’s work and try their hand at some of the skills learned by pupils.
The children had been investigating the theme of “Who do we think we are?” in mixed age groups.
There was a musical welcome, and activities for parents included watercolour landscape painting and creating a local legend using ICT.
There was also a traditional-style tea shop, where people could sample sandwiches and enjoy a cuppa made using tea leaves rather than bags.
