Police are investigating a fire which broke out at a flat in Braithwaite Avenue, Keighley, early yesterday morning.
Two fire engines from Keighley and one from Bingley were called out to the incident shortly before 2am.
Keighley Fire Station crew commander David Knox said: “A couple were getting themselves out of the flat when we arrived. They were OK but the chap had inhaled some smoke and was given a bit of oxygen by an ambulance crew.
“It was a small fire and mainly caused smoke damage.”
A spokesman for Airedale and North Bradford Police said officers were looking into the incident, but could not yet confirm the cause of the fire.
