Not quite as spectacular as last year's live show, however the 2012 tour still held the magic the magic I have come to expect from this dance phenomenon.

Kate Thornton was back at the helm of the live show after a year away and quickly had all the dancers, celebrities and judges under her control.

Well, nearly all the celebrities -- Nancy D'Olio still proved a problem with her promises to change Craig Revel Horwood's allegiances as no man is able to resist her. As for dancing, as expected we were wild about Harry Judd and Chelsee Healey who were both very accomplished dancers. Perhaps the surprise of the night came from Mark Foster who I remembered as being a bit "so what" on TV -- he came out with a well-executed and romantic waltz. As expected my face lit up with Anita Dobson's Charleston. But I was disappointed with Jason Donovan as I had expected much more. All in all a well-put-together, comedic show with some dancing thrown in for good measure.
