Firefighters are tackling a huge building blaze in Beck Street, Keighley.
A forklift truck containing gas containers was seen inside, sparking fears there may be an explosion on one side of the three-storey building.
Firefighters from Keighley, Bingley, Haworth, Silsden and Bradford were initially called to the scene at about 3.45am.
The number of engines was stepped up to ten just after 7am, a spokesman for Keighley Fire Station said.
Specialist officers and a fire investigator are also in attendance.
Eight large water jets are being used to tackle the blaze.
Police have closed off South Street both ways between the Worth Way and Oakworth Road junctions.
