A Keighley family business has now planted 1,000 trees, thanks to its environmentally friendly effort to respond to the massive global demand for wood.
The Musicians Centre, in Keighley Railway Station but which will move to Russell Street, planted the 1,000th tree in the grounds of Cliffe Castle Museum.
The latest planting was part of the company’s ‘Buy A Guitar, Plant A Tree’ campaign.
The business began the policy more than two years ago, since when it has used the Global ReLeaf project to have trees planted all around the world in areas where they are most needed.
The Cliffe Castle planting followed discussions between the company and Cliffe Castle Park Conservation Group to find the best way to celebrate the business’s achievement.
