Newcomers are being sought to run the Gatehouse and Gardeners pubs in Keighley town centre.

They are among several pubs across West Yorkshire, owned by Admiral Taverns, which need new landlords The company, which has 1,200 pubs, is hosting a recruitment day in Bradford to unearth fresh talent.

The company describes the Gatehouse, in High Street, as full of character and charm.

It said: “The site currently trades as a young person venue, acting as a feeder bar for the vibrant nightlife scene in Keighley.”

The Gardeners, in Hanover Street, is described as a cosy stone-built pub also full of character and charm.

The company said: “This pub has the potential to be a strong food destination and cask ale outlet with the right tenant.”

The recruitment day next Wednesday is aimed at finding local entrepreneurs who want to run their own pub business in partnership with Admiral Taverns.
