Oldfield Primary, which stages a WOW Day at the start of each term, welcomed sporting visitors, who spoke to the pupils and gave them a taste of activities.
Those present included Wilf Scarborough from Oakworth Cricket Club, David Ingham, of Keighley Boxing Club, Keighley Cougars head coach Jason Demetriou and player Michael Korkidas and Bingley Harriers athlete David Lidstone-Green.
A spokesman said: “They spoke about teamwork and achieving personal goals and all the children were inspired. It was also very much hands-on, with the pupils taking part in activities and trying their hand at sports training.
“We would like to say a big thank you to all who came along. It was a very successful day.”
