Keighley Recreation Centre set to open its doors for fun day and race night
11:00am Tuesday 9th October 2012 in News
An annual open day and race night are being staged at Keighley Table Tennis and Recreation Centre.
The centre, on the second floor at Keighley Business Centre, in South Street, will open its doors from 11am to 2pm on Saturday, October 13. The race night will follow, at 7pm.
Admission is free and anyone, players and non-players, is welcome.
There will be a range of stalls and activities including 3D games console demonstrations, an art group, food and drink, a tabletop sale and the chance to “Beat the Robot” – a machine that fires ping-pong balls.
Business people are also invited to attend, to discuss taking advertising space at the premises.
The race night will feature eight jungle animals making their way around a wooden course, their progress decided by randomly-selected bingo balls. There will be six races. Other attractions will include a raffle.
Tickets for the race night cost £5 for adults and £3 for under-18s, including supper.
