Liam Rowbotham will take his audience back to Victorian times
A Keighley “mind reader” will take his audience back to Victorian times during a show in his home town.
Mentalist Liam Rowbotham will perform his psychological illusions at Victoria Hall on Thursday, October 25.
The show comes following a successful residency in Taunton after his tricks were seen on YouTube.
Liam promotes himself as a psychological illusionist with elements of mind reading, hypnotism and thought manipulation.
He said: “Not to be confused with magic, it involves psychology, deception, suggestion and body language, among other skills.
“I started out in Keighley and the local area doing public and private performances, before being noticed on YouTube and snapped up to do a two-week show in Taunton.”
Liam said his show was based around Victorian spiritualism and the case of a female medium of the time.
He said: “I’ll be showcasing her story throughout the effects, some of which were performed in that time, including the item that brought her fame – her very own spirit box.”
