VODAFONE UK has started rolling out its ultra-fast 4G in Keighley.
The move is part of a £1 billion package of improvements this year by the company to its network and services nationally.
The 4G coverage is being expanded to over 300 cities, towns and districts – plus thousands of smaller communities – across the UK.
"This investment is on top of the £802m we spent acquiring the widest portfolio of mobile spectrum in last year’s auction of new capacity by Ofcom," said a Vodafone spokesman.
"We plan to provide coverage using 2G, 3G or 4G services to 98 per cent of the UK population.
"And to ensure rural areas have much needed access to mobile connectivity, we are currently looking for 100 communities to take part in a signal trial."
