A NEW drinks festival in Keighley could be just your cup of tea.

You can either sit back with a refreshing cuppa or sink a pint of real ale.

Cafe Choux Choux is hosting its first Tea and Beer Festival from October 23 to 26.

The cafe bar, at Keighley railway station, normally serves food, real ales and Fairtrade coffee.

Cafe manager Nicola Mitchell is running the festival with James Mitchell, manager of the Cricketers Arms.

James and his father John – founder of Worth-Inns which runs both watering holes – have been running beer festivals for more than six years.

James said: “We will use our experience and knowledge of fine ales, which guarantees an outstanding time at Cafe Choux Choux.”

The festival will boast an “explosive” range of teas, including Dragon Well Supreme, an award-winning ‘Great Taste of 2014’, and the better-known Earl Grey.

Beer will come from breweries like Alchemy and Tiny Rebels, and there will also be ‘real ‘ciders.

Cafe Choux Choux, in the former Keighley Musicians Centre premises, was opened in August by Keighley town mayor Graham Mitchell.

It represented a six-figure investment by Worth-Inns.
