A CONONLEY man has been nominated for two awards at Leeds Beckett University.
Robert Minton-Taylor, who teaches at the university, is in the running for Inspiring Teacher of the Year and Personal Tutor of the Year accolades in the staff awards.
He said: "I always remember what a tough time I had as a student so I strive to ensure my lectures and tutorials are accessible, interesting and fun.
"I want to give students the employability skills that will provide them with a head start in their careers."
Earlier this year, Mr Minton-Taylor – of Meadow Lane – won the Full Circle Award from the Leeds Beckett Students' Union for his "motivational support”.
