SILSDEN-based manufacturers of infection control products are doing their bit to help tackle the Ebola crises in West Africa.
Topdental Products Ltd has donated 1,500 packs of its Virofex disinfectant wipes for use in some of the region’s worst affected by the virus.
The wipes will initially be transported to the charity’s base where they will be packed onto a 20-foot container ready for shipping to Sierra Leone’s capital Freetown. They will then be distributed to the Ebola-hit areas by the charity’s operating partners Adullam Missions.
Topdental Products managing director, Peter Tapper, said: “World in Need International is doing an amazing job on the ground in West Africa, but needs companies and suppliers like ourselves to support their efforts by providing vital resources.
“When I spoke to our staff they were keen to help by giving up their own time to pack the palette of wipes ready for shipping to West Africa. We’re pleased we could assist the charity.”
