TAXI drivers have given a fundraising boost to Manorlands.
Metro in Keighley has handed over a £200 cheque, proceeds of a collection can at the firm's Church Street head office.
The collection was the idea of driver, Mohammed Shafiq.
The firm's general manager, Steve Carter, said: "Metro has chosen Manorlands as its designated charity.
"We are a local company with a passion for supporting a local cause and are committed to continuing collecting.
"We would like to encourage all customers and passers-by to call in and donate."
Manorlands fundraiser Debra Chalmers, who with colleague Jodie Batters collected the cheque, said: "We would like to say a huge thank-you to Metro for the donation.
"It is a great achievement and all money raised is important in helping to support the work of the hospice."
