A NEW care company is looking to create 50 jobs in Keighley and surrounding areas.
Home Instead Senior Care is owned by Brenda Torry, who has a professional background in nursing, social work and teaching. She founded the company after her own experience with her father, who has suffered from dementia and Parkinson’s disease.
She said: “During my career, and also with my own parents, I had seen examples of poor care and I wasn’t prepared to go for second best.
“It was during this time I noticed there was an opportunity to set up my own Home Instead business. With both my professional and personal experience of care, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to be able to get back into a role where I could make a significant difference and a positive impact to the lives of older people in my own community.”
Brenda needs staff to care for clients across Keighley and beyond. Visit homeinstead.co.uk/ilkley or call 01943 662188.
