FASHION giant Damart – whose warehousing facility is at Steeton – is backing a new walks programme.
The company has teamed up with Walkers are Welcome, a national initiative.
It is sponsoring its own Damart Healthy Heart Walk, covering a two-mile canalside route.
And the firm is supporting an official launch event this Saturday (Apr 11) for Bingley's newly-awarded Walkers are Welcome status.
Human resources director Linda Montgomery said: "We have worked hard over the years to encourage healthy living for our colleagues.
"Through our work with Heart Research UK, we have introduced a number of initiatives including healthy eating and exercise classes available to all Damart employees.
"We are delighted to now be able to promote beautiful local walks that our colleagues and residents can get involved with."
