KEIGHLEY lawyers took to the water to help raise money for a children's hospice.
A team of partners and staff from AWB Charlesworth competed in the annual Martin House dragon boat race, at Roundhay Park in Leeds.
The event raised over £30,000 for the Boston Spa hospice.
The Charlesworth team, comprising colleagues from the Keighley and Skipton offices, was victorious in the second heat and later – in a tug of war – beat last year's champions.
Overall, the team finished 14th out of more than 30 and coined-in £1,000.
Partner Liam O’Neill said: "We all had a fantastic day out, raising money for a good cause and managing to stay relatively dry in the process!"
Martin House is this year's chosen charity of AWB Charlesworth.
The firm's next fundraiser is a golf day on June 26, which organisers hope will bring in more than £2,000.
Sponsorship or donations of raffle prizes are welcome.
