A KEIGHLEY gym is among the finalists in the coveted National Fitness Awards.
NRGym is one of just a handful of clubs from across the UK shortlisted in the Strength Training Gym of the Year category.
"To be recognised amongst such really tough competition is a massive achievement for us and for the town – we are delighted," said NRGym director Rousel Chowdhury.
In 2013 the gym, in Greengate Road, was runner-up in the 'best newcomer' section of the same awards scheme.
This year's presentation ceremony takes place at Leicester in December, when Mr Chowdhury will be competing in Canada.
To cap off a successful year in competitions, during which he has won national championships and set records, he will be representing England in the Commonwealth Powerlifting Federation Championships.
He will compete in the open-age 93kg category at classic bench press.
