KEIGHLEY food businesses are being urged to display their hygiene ratings.
Bradford Council says a survey of outlets awarded three stars or more found that less than half were displaying a sticker showing their score.
About 60 per cent of premises rated by the council, equating to over 2,000, have the top five-star rating.
Outlets include restaurants, cafes and canteens.
Councillor Arshad Hussain, the council's portfolio holder, said: "More and more customers are looking for a food hygiene rating sticker before eating out or purchasing from a business.
"Food businesses work hard to achieve a good rating, so we encourage them to share their success by displaying their score.
"If they don't display a sticker, the public might assume they have a poor score.
"If anyone can't see a sticker displayed they can ask the staff what their score is."
