A CARE group that operates homes at Steeton and Cross Hills is opening up its training facilities.

Czajka is making its training centre and courses available to other care home operators across the region.

The company has already won training contracts with several homes throughout the district and hires out its training centre to a range of organisations including the NHS.

"We have been at the forefront of the local care industry for more than 20 years, and much of the success is based on our ability to train our 350-strong team to an exceptionally high standard," said Konrad Czajka, managing director of the group, which runs five homes including Currergate at Steeton and Beanlands, Cross Hills.

"This led to us launching the training centre, which is managed by a team of care professionals, all of whom have vast amounts of experience working in the industry and are qualified to deliver an extensive range of courses that can have an immediate impact on the standard of service homes offer."
