A KEIGHLEY restaurant boss has been shortlisted for the Asian English Business Awards.
Faisal Hussain, who runs Shimla Spice, was nominated in the Young Achiever of the Year category of the national awards.
He will hear whether he is the winner during the awards night on September 16 at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester.
Mr Hussain said: “Just getting shortlisted is a massive achievement as I'm fighting it out with some of the biggest business people.
Mr Hussain was last year named the Curry King of England at the English Curry Awards.
He said: “I’m also entering many other awards, which will be shortlisted at the end of next month.”
Shimla Spice, on Damside, this month on the Hospitality/Leisure Business of the Year Prize at This Year’s Keighley Business Awards.
Mr Hussain is part of a team from several restaurants working to retain the title of Curry Capital of Britain for Bradford district for the sixth consecutive year.
Mr Hussain added: “I urge the people of Keighley to get behind us and vote for Bradford, which can be done on the website visitbradford.co.uk.”
